The name "Not My People's Publication" is drawn from Hosea 1 and 2. The prophet Hosea addresses the people of Israel on behalf of God as "Not My People" because they believed that everything they needed for life came from sources other than God.

However, there's a message of hope within this name. It signifies that by recognizing that everything they truly need for life comes from God, they can transition from being labelled "Not My People" to being known as "My People" once again, affirming their reliance on God for all things.

Our publication's name reflects this journey: by acknowledging that our ultimate sustenance and fulfilment come from God, we can reclaim our identity as His people. Through our articles and discussions, we strive to inspire each other to live in accordance with this truth and draw closer to God in all aspects of life.

At Not My People’s Publication we believe whole heartedly in the unity of love, faith and hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also believe that this has massive implications for the way we live and move as the people of God who have received mercy.
